Heather M. Grove

Ms. Grove is a Managing Director and has over fifteen years of experience conducting valuation analyses of business enterprises and various types of securities including common and preferred stock, options, warrants, and partnership interests for merger and acquisition, divestiture, litigation and dispute resolution, estate and gift tax planning, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting purposes.  Ms. Grove also has extensive experience involving the valuation of intangible assets including non-compete agreements, trademarks, patents, franchise rights, customer lists, and recording artist contracts.

Ms. Grove is also experienced in providing litigation support and forensic accounting services to attorneys and other parties involved in litigation, arbitration or mediation, and other alternative dispute resolution forums, for claims resulting from dissenting shareholder actions, breach of contract, business interruption, malpractice actions, and fraudulent conveyances.

Ms. Grove has served public and closely-held companies in the information technology, manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical, financial services, entertainment, gaming, real estate, telecommunications, printing and publishing, and health care industries, as well as government agencies including the Internal Revenue Service, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Department of Justice.

Prior to joining Caliber, Ms. Grove was Director of Corporate Finance for a venture-backed technology company.  She began her career as an analyst in the Valuation Services Group at Ibbotson Associates.

Ms. Grove received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance with a concentration in accounting from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.  She is a member of the American Society of Appraisers, Business Valuation Association, Association for Corporate Growth, and MIT Enterprise Forum.

Ms. Grove is also an active member of the community and is a member of the Greater Illinois Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Corporate Advisory Board) and the Goodman Theatre Scenemakers Board (Treasurer).
